Bacon Becomes Spoiled Once Its Cooked

While I appreciate classic art - the many Van Gogh canvas prints on my walls testify to my tastes - I do like artists who stretch the boundaries too - for example, Francis Bacon. Known for his crude and violent work, he is the artist of the 20th century who made that which is repulsive that which is the most beautiful. Often incorporating meat into his paintings, using glassed frames to further isolate his viewers and letting his homosexuality influence his choice of subjects, he is never afraid to reveal his true soul. Especially in death, he is the only artist ever capable of collecting words from the grave from the living. In his paintings he captures all of us: our homeliness, our tragedy, our lust. All these raw animal feelings that dominate our actions when we let them are all set free in the prison of his paintings. They're trapped for a reason: to make you want to release them. Do it. Make him happy. Be free. Be raw.
