Bungie Dot Net: the Reason I Play Video Games

I love making websites - I run a popular web design directory - and I also love playing video games. Most websites that have a video game background just contain information on the game. They usually tell who made it, what the game is like, and sometimes they contain review information. However, Bungie.net, the website that created the masterpiece series, Halo, is more than meets the eye. Like other sites, there is information on the game and news is presented when additional features are added to the game, but what makes it special is it's database. Anytime you play a matchmaking game of Halo on Xbox Live, you can go back and look at exactly what happened at any time during any game. The feature is so in depth that the site will even tell you where you killed an enemy in a specific location on the map played. These features keep me coming back every day to review my stats, and I will for as long as I play. The time and effort the Bungie corporation put into this site makes it by far the most impressive website I have ever come across, and it makes me love the game even more.
