Dealing With the Cold With Fun Fashion

Now that winter has finally landed on the East Coast of the United States, I am able to have fun with my cold-weather accessories. Although I despise the cold, I love all the fashion items that go along with the season, such as gloves, hats, and scarves. They are an easy way to spruce up a boring or ugly winter coat. For the winter, I have a basket next to my door that holds all my accessories. On some days, I’ll wear a basic matching fleece ensemble of hat, pashmina, and gloves. On other days, I wear old-fashioned knit hits and scarves that were made my aunt. I have on hand all different colors. Sometimes I wear the same color, while other times I mix and match to go with my mood. On the bitter cold days, I go for the warmest thing I have, even if they aren’t the most fashionable. Some of the accessories are better for their looks, while others are more functional. Either way, I have fun dressing up for the cold, even if it’s not my favorite season.
