Fashion is considered one of the most important things which represent a person. You could easily recognize a person by their form of dressing or how they match their clothes and this was the case for jimi hendrix who was well known for his curly hair and a fan of vintage fashion. He was one person who was known to admire clothes designed with tasseled ropes that could go hand in hand with his rock music, and was one person you could not find without scarves, rings, medallions or even brooches which complemented his whole outlook. He later started putting on a wide brimmed hut which owned him a certain brand name known as the westerner. After this hat was stolen, he bought another one so that he could maintain his identity, though he did not wear it most of the time compared to the first hat. As years went by, he lost the hat style and started wearing bandanas and tying scarves on one leg. This is what has been representing him even in his songs.
