When it comes to fashion, the smallest things really can pack the biggest punch, and the same can be said for earrings. They may be quite small, but oftentimes, its those little touches, those fine details that make an outfit extra-special. Earrings are the perfect accessories to do just that!
But because of their small size, they can be quite delicate. Some have very tiny, precious stones on them that could come loose if you’re not careful. Plus, don’t you just hate it when you’ve misplaced one earring, and you’re left with just half a pair?
This is why it is so important to keep an earring organizer at hand. These boxes usually come with individual compartments for every pair of earrings you own, which keeps them organized. Plus, these organizers come in lots of different styles! You get to keep both your earrings and your home sleek and stylish! |

My favorite handbag is seven years old. Black leather, two silver colored buckles and a zipper – this is a few words description of my favorite accessory. I like it the most of all my handbags - from the evening bags right up to the satchels I own - for several reasons. The most significant one to me is that I paid for it with the first salary I have ever received. First serious job, first salary, first item bought with my own money – only that is enough to call the handbag my favorite one, but as mentioned before, there are more reasons too. The bag is of an optimal size – neither too big nor too small. Perfect for carrying in it a few make-up items for a Friday night clubbing and at the same time ideal for packing in it some thick novel to read on my way to work and a lunch prepared by my fiancé. And the last but not least important reason to call this particular bag my favorite one is that I do not even know its brand and yet I have been asked so many times where I bought this lovely handbag. No fancy brand, worth 30 bugs if I remember well but whenever I wear it, I feel like having some top designer’s bag at my side. Only a truly loved, favorite handbag can give you this feeling. |

Now that winter has finally landed on the East Coast of the United States, I am able to have fun with my cold-weather accessories. Although I despise the cold, I love all the fashion items that go along with the season, such as gloves, hats, and scarves. They are an easy way to spruce up a boring or ugly winter coat. For the winter, I have a basket next to my door that holds all my accessories. On some days, I’ll wear a basic matching fleece ensemble of hat, pashmina, and gloves. On other days, I wear old-fashioned knit hits and scarves that were made my aunt. I have on hand all different colors. Sometimes I wear the same color, while other times I mix and match to go with my mood. On the bitter cold days, I go for the warmest thing I have, even if they aren’t the most fashionable. Some of the accessories are better for their looks, while others are more functional. Either way, I have fun dressing up for the cold, even if it’s not my favorite season. |

If I was invited to a fancy dress costumes party, and could dress up to be anything in the world I wanted, I would dress up as a princess. I have always wanted to be a princess, and have all the attention on me. The clothes I would wear would be perfectly picked to make up the perfect princess coustume. I would buy a pink dress that was strapless, and expanded at the bottom. I would get a tiara with diamonds in the front of it. I would get a pair of white or silver high heel shoes to go along with my princess outfit. I have dreamed of being a princess since I was a little girl, and I have never even dressed up as one for Halloween. I would love to have the opportunity to be the star of the show, and be the most beautiful girl in the room. I love the movie “A Cinderella Story” starring Hillary Duff, and the outfit that she wore to the Halloween ball she attended. That movie has always been a minor inspiration to me. |

Personally, I have always had a sentimental streak. I love to buy friends and family gifts that have some meaning. For my daughter's birthday I made a scrapbook of the pictures and mementos we got on our Alaskan cruise. Using my jewellery making supplies, I've made lockets for other members of my family too, with special photos of loved ones. My mother does genealogy and has gathered a lot of photos and documents from her family's past. For Christmas last year I took some of the more special items and made copies of them and mounted them in a shadow box so she could display them. I have a friend who loves Starbucks, but can't afford to enjoy them very often - for her a Starbucks gift certificate that allows her to indulge once in a while. For another an Amazon gift certificate so they can purchase books for their e-reader. I can't afford to buy expensive gifts for my friends and family, so I try to put a lot of thought into them. |

Any girl enjoys dressing up to go anywhere. Basically when you look good you feel good as well. That's why I have a large collection of apparel and accessories - from my Forever Unique dresses to my pashminas. However there is just something that I never go out the door without no matter if I am wanting to dress up or not and that is my wedding ring. My wedding ring is not only gorgeous but it was given to be by a special man and is a reminder of how good my life really is. I would have to say it is my favorite fashing item because, it goes with absolutely everything that I wear no matter what color the clothes are. I know a lot of women feel the same way about their wedding ring which is why it is so common to see them wearing as often as possible. I know that overall I will be wearing it forever unless if I have too take it off to do housework. |

A simple t-shirt or as some people call them - tee shirt, is my favorite when it comes to girls designer clothing. Just like Barney from "How I met your mother" enjoys wearing his suit, I enjoy wearing t-shirts. I wear it with any type of other clothes, with jeans, or shorts etc. As in my country, we have such a lovely sunny weather through the whole year, I wear t-shirts for most of the time. I have many types of shirt, with many photographs, words and other art on them. One of my favorite t-shirt is the one that says "I think I know you from Facebook!" associating on these days popular social site - Facebook and it's frequent usage. One advantage is that they are really easy to wear, without collars and buttonless, in every possible color. It may sound very unusual and too casual, but t-shirt are my favorite fashion item. |

How can any handbag last forever? Even if a handbag is durable enough to endure the ages, it is not designed to be a permanent part of a wardrobe. As long as it is in style, a handbag is a particular statement to personal fashion and a special part of a woman's wardrobe, but once the season changes so does the favorite bag - it doesn't matter if it's a pink clutch bag or a big black leather satchel. Out with the old and in with the new! Since a handbag is so special when it is in style and it is being carried by its proud owner, it is not going to be tossed out like rotten sushi, rather it will be allowed to linger on a hook in the closet, front and center, a vintage icon of seasons past, until it is donated to a charity thrift store where it is sold to a woman who is dressing up on Halloween remembering her coming of age. |

It's hard buying gifts isn't it? Things like jewellery gift ideas get harder to think of as the years pass, as our friends seem to have everything. However, I'd like to talk about a certain fashion item that at least make it easier for us when deciding what to wear when we go out - jeans!
Jeans are like the rice or the bread of clothing. They go with everything. They can be dressed up, or dressed down. A pair of perfectly fitting jeans can make you feel sexy and comfortable all at once. Whether you like them baggy or tight, boot cut or skinny, there are jeans for every style. Jeans for a lazy Saturday morning, and jeans for night at the club. My favorite jeans are a dark wash blue, almost black. They come short, so I don't have to hem them. They have a little bit of stretch to them so they keep their shape even as I move during the day, and keeps them from bagging out. They are also made of a nice thick denim so they will last. Another reason that my favorite jeans are my favorite, is that they are machine washer and dryer friendly. I hate clothes that need to be dry-cleaned or hand washed. The favorite jeans just get tossed in the washer with all the tee shirts and socks, and come out good as new! |

Working on the bins, you don't realise how many dangers there are until you actually do it. You've got your sharp objects, glass, dangerous chemicals, wasps in the summer, heavy objects falling on your feet, the hazard of being run over(!), and general injuries like doing your back in. We are kitted out in safety gear - heavy duty gloves, safety footwear, high visibility jackets etc which does help.
The plus side of it is we can often knock off work about 11AM to 12PM - which is ideal for me as my wife starts work at 2PM so I can look after the kids when I get home.
A lot of people don't realise also the physical fitness required to be a binman. Believe me, it's quite a workout. We cover 200 properties each day - that's 200 bins between the 2 of us - 100 bins each, 6 days a week. |

There are several ways that you can do to update your long pearl necklaces and make it look more fashionable. Gone are the days when pearl necklaces are only worn during formal events. Now, even the most fashion-forward women are using their pearl necklaces to add a touch of sophistication to their outfits. I know that most women pair their pearl necklaces with a classic white shirt, but if you want to look trendy you should choose clothes that are bright and bold in color to make you standout in a crowd. If you are feeling a bit adventurous and you want to get out of your comfort zone, why don't you try wearing it with a biker chick outfit? In addition, you can pair your pearl necklaces with an unexpected jewelry such as a gold earring or a silver ring. You should use your imagination and creativity because there are a lot of possibilities. |

Many women the world over have a love affair with shoes. Shoes are meant to provide protection and comfort for the feet - shoes as shoes for swollen feet for example - but they are also a great way to make you look and feel good. They can make or break on outfit they give that little extra something to anything you are wearing. Though shoes are meant to provide comfort, many women often opt for the less comfortable ones like the stiletto heels which poses some level of discomfort, but that’s the price we pay for beauty. Modern day shoes have come a long way from what is thought to have been the first pair of shoes made from cowhide and cord. Now there are flats, sandals, pumps, wedges, sneakers and the list goes on. There is also the option of going low end in price or high end with designer shoes. It is indeed very easy to find a pair of shoes to suit any occasion and budget. |

Getting married is such a unique and thrilling experience. It all starts the moment that you are proposed to. Once you say "yes" the excitement starts building. The plans start rolling around in your head, these plans that will stay with you until the moment you walk down the aisle with one of those lovely bridal tiaras balanced on your head, and you look at your groom standing there waiting for you to join him to start your new life together. Where to hold the wedding, what kind of reception, who will be invited, what do you want your cake to look like, do you want to wear a your hair up or down, who do you want to stand up there with you? And the list of questions continue. While you can let the plans stress you out you want to remember that this is a happy time and hopefully a once in a life time event that should be fun and romantic. Make sure that you enjoy the time and make it all that you and your groom want it to be. |

Within the next 5 years, I plan to attend the Culinary Institute of America and get a degree in Culinary Arts. My dream job would be to own a multi-million dollar restraunt in either Los Angeles, New York City, or London. Cooking is my true passion, next to fashion (I currently sell a wide range of evening bags online). I hope and pray to be an equivalent to the great Gordon Ramsay, or Marco Pierre White. These guys are true personalities and they show their personality in the dishes they create. I don't want to be the celebrity chef that hosts a cooking show on Saturday morning. I want to be in restaurant kitchens, in the middle of the action. Like a man in the army, he wants to be in the midst of gunfire, not behind a desk pushing pencils. I hope to become a powerful, well-educated Master of the culinary Arts. |

I'm terrible before a party - I dress up and put my make-up on hours before the event. I'll be in my house walking around in my ladies court shoes and evening dress doing the dishes and the ironing! I just worry I won't be ready in time, so slowly over time I've moved my "preparation time" back to a ridiculous point. I think it all stems back from a particular event I attended a few year's back. I had so little time to prepare for it, that I arrived there wearing no make-up, and a dress I'd hastily borrowed from my sister. Needless to say, I felt incredibly self-conscious throughout the entire event! Since then, I've vowed to be ready for the event, no matter what. I just wonder if any other women are like this, or have I picked up one of those obsessional compulsive disorders? I hope not! |

So we're deep into the Christmas break now, and I'm still decked out in Christmaswear - I have a turquoise snowflake brooch, a christmas hat on (yes, I wear this out and about still), fur boots, a knitted jumper with a nativity scene knitted into it that Gyles Brandreth would be proud of - at any other time of the year, I'd look a right idiot, but at this time of year, I see people smiling at me - I guess it's because we're all on holiday now, and I'm reminding them of that fact.
I wish we had more seasons like Christmas - instead we have a long year with few holidays. It's a pity really - we need to celebrate life a lot more in different ways. Forget all the presents and the over-indulgence - just give me more of those festive smiles and a feeling of freedom. |

There are always niches to exploit in the fashion industry. For example, plus size lingerie became hugely (pun intended) successful because prior to this, the larger lady simply couldn't buy any lingerie.
The key is to NOT try to copy other fashion boutique shops, but think outside the box and also do a lot of research - ask people in the high street what they're shopping for, what they'd like to see in shops that aren't already there. You might be surprised by the feedback you get.
Being in a niche means you have less competition so you have much more "room" to control your pricing. You're not caught in a price war where there's the inevitable race to the bottom in terms of profit.
Also being in a niche means you're more likely to get loyal customers - people who rely on your products because you're one of only a few selling them. |
