I like to model my gardens in the Japanese style, complete with solar security lights. In my favorite garden in my backyard, I have a flowering cactus, two snow on the mountain bushes, a small periwinkle bush with pink flowers, a native porterweed with blue flowers to attract butterflies, and 2 small plumerias. All that is next to a goldfish pond surrounded with rocks. I’ve been nestling oyster plants between the rocks around the edge to give it a more natural border. I also have what used to be a fake stone pond which I filled in with dirt, aloe plants and clearance pink flowers. My fiance put in a slightly bigger tub next to those two with a type of flowering lily. Our main pond has three different types of plants: one will grow about 4 feet and have orange flowers, some are papyrus plants and then some elephant ear plants thrown in as well to help hide the fish from birds and other random animals. |

Patience is a virtue that electricians need to have if they are going to expand in their business as electricians. My brother is a hand zone person, never been interested in classroom settings but anything to do with technical electrical stuff his interests would be tenfold. I went to a university and he went to a technical college to study on how to be an electrician. His friends wondered why he did not choose any other university around Fleet instead of going to a university. They just did not understand the passion he had in electricity related purposes. They did not know that one day he would become one of the best electricians fleet in the state. He is a very patient person. We started off, he did not earn a lot of money but he did not give up. This is probably because he was intent on learning more and also he liked what he did and nothing would make him think other wise even the pay. He has been an electrician for three years and he is earning enough money because he now has a home. |

Do you love music? Do you not only listen to it but also play it? Then you must have an instrument that you use. This can be usually the guitar. But it can also be a flute or even a piano. You can play a lot of songs with these instruments but moving them is another thing. The guitar is easy to move from place to place but the piano is a lot harder to move. You might need some help in piano moving. Moving pianos is not as simple as it looks since when you move without the proper knowledge you might keep the piano intact but cause some damage elsewhere that can affect the outcome of the songs played in it. So it is better to hire help when piano moving especially when moving it to a building except when the place that you want to move to is just another part of your house. |

I cannot contain my excitement because my best friend, who also happens to be the love of my life, said that he will be coming over to my place for dinner. We have been best friends since high school and we were so close that we went to the same university and had the same profession. Since we hang out a lot I slowly but intensely developed feelings for him, unfortunately he doesn’t seem to notice. I always thought that it will be for the best because if he rejects me then our friendship will be affected. But after thinking about it for weeks, I finally made a decision that I cannot stay friends I have to confess my feelings and face the consequences. That’s why I am setting the mood for dinner I will have romantic kitchen lighting, his favorite dishes, and red wine. I have no clue what he feels for me but if there is any hope, at least, he hasn’t dated anyone in all these years that we have been friends. |

While it may not be a legal requirement (I am not a lawyer!), it's just common sense to talk with your future neighbours before embarking on a self build project. If my own neighbour was rebuilding his house, or if someone new was coming in and rebuilding, it would be good to be part of the planning process. There's no point in building a property that neighbours will object to. Also, I think there's a responsibility to ensure the self build aesthetically fits in with the surrounding buildings too - because anything jarring may even affect the houses prices of the street overall. It just makes sense to consult everybody who would be affected by your self build whether it's a legal requirement or not.
And having said that, if you do face any objections, the people objecting should have compelling reasons as to why they object. This feedback is very valuable. |

The English man once said there are so many ways to kill a rat, and this has been proved right by the many people who have tried different solutions to the same problem because most of these have worked to their advantage. I in one way have been able to benefit from this experiment because i fixed the right answer to my question which is how to get rid of carpet smells. There is a detergent that i have been using to give my carpet that long scented smell, though it has been working for me, there are times when i am not satisfied with it because of the stains that it leaves on my carpet. For this particular reason, i decided to fix my own ingredients to see if there could be any result. Mixing home made shampoo with bar soap gave me the perfect result. I am now able to enjoy continuous fresh scents from my carpet all day long and i am in no doubt experimenting on many other detergents for my home. |

Plumber rates differ from plumber to plumber. Some charges through the hourly rate and others through flat rate. An hourly charging is computed as time plus material charging. The number of hours the plumber had spent at the job will be multiplied to the plumber’s per hour rate. The amount of materials will then be added plus the travel time of the plumber in going to the job site.
The other kind of plumber rates is the known as the flat rate. The plumber rates have been agreed in advance. The plumber will assess the plumbing problem then give his charge. If he spends more time on the job it will not affect the agreed. The plumber has a plumber book where the list of job and its corresponding price are already listed giving the client an idea of how much he will be charged with all the job.
The flat rate charging is more advantageous because the customer would not watch and follow the plumber all over the house to ensure that he is not wasting his time. This is also more of an advantage to the customer because even if how many hours the plumber will have to stays in a given job he will only pay what was agreed. |

A few months back, I spotted a simple cast iron planter online and it planted a seed in my mind. I wanted our garden to be "retro". I was tired of the clean lines our garden had - squared off grass, path along the side - you know the deal. I wanted something more raw and natural - overgrown even. I harked back to my own golden decade - the 70s. I grew up then and remember my parent's house - back then our garden was wild, flowers growing everywhere, tall grass surrounding a pond - it was our own little adventure playground. And so we went to work on our garden - literally deconstructing it to something more natural. The path went and we seeded grass where it was, as did the shed. We dug a pond, and planted flower seeds randomly and just let everything grow naturally - and now we have our own haphazard and idiosyncratic garden - completed with cast iron planter! |

Finding out that they have worn mismatched socks occur with much more frequency in people than you think. With dimmed lights, being in a hurry, and thinking of the work ahead, some people are just easily distracted when putting on socks that they don’t realize until it’s too late that they are not matched. This wouldn’t happen with shoes of course because you would naturally feel that they don’t match as soon as you them on. But lacking adequate shoe storage space, what we do often see is a lot of mismatched shoes, or a shoe without its matching pair.

My house is a so-called two storey one. But it really doesn't have two storeys. It's more like one and a half stories,or a split-level. I would really love to make it a genuine two storey house, with a full hallway which you could see lots of family pictures as you are on your way from room to room upstairs.
I work for a steel cladding company, so I have some good contacts in the building industry to help me with any renovations.
No one room in my house has a window seat, and I would put one in each bedroom.of course I would add a couple more bedrooms to my house as well - mine only has three, plus a den. They're pretty small as well. I would certainly want a walk-in closet in each bedroom, plus attic space above each bedroom. It would be nice to have dormers in the window of each bedroom. Each bedroom would also have a full bathroom,with a shower and tub, double sink, plus lots of room for a hamper and medicine cabinet and shelves. I would want the bedrooms themselves to be larger, with space for a king-size bed, a desk,display cabinets,rocking chair, good-sized television, dresser, cedar chest, armoires,and nightstands. The walls should not be plain-vanilla beige rather,taking inspiration from Bollywood, use the warm oranges, pinks, and golds in a sunrise or sunset. I would love to have room for more antiques and vintage items. Downstairs, I would need bigger rooms. This would be great for having parties, and people wouldn't always have to be excushing themselves to get by. A bigger dining room would also be wonderful. All in all, bigger would be much cozier, if you can believe that. |

Kitchens are something many of us women obsesse over. I am a mother of two so most of the time I feel like I live in my kitchen. I love to try to come up with new meals but sometimes its best to stick with normal meals and spice them up with your own flavor. I have recently been soaking my pork chops in butter and jalapeno juice with a little seasoning for a few hours before grilling and I find they are wonderful. I’m from the south so sometimes just a good ole’ home grown tomato sliced on some bread with some mayonnaise is great for a lunch. I have to say this I started buying some pico de gallo and putting in my eggs for a breakfast omelet with salsa on top, talk about awesome. Another breakfast favorite of mine is my maple and brown sugar oatmeal soaked in half and half. Something I should mention that my husband said he never heard of which I don’t know how since he too is from the south, is putting a roux or brown gravy in my sweet peas That is just a little of what I’m fixing in my kitchen. |
