I'm In My Ladies Court Shoes Already

I'm terrible before a party - I dress up and put my make-up on hours before the event. I'll be in my house walking around in my ladies court shoes and evening dress doing the dishes and the ironing! I just worry I won't be ready in time, so slowly over time I've moved my "preparation time" back to a ridiculous point. I think it all stems back from a particular event I attended a few year's back. I had so little time to prepare for it, that I arrived there wearing no make-up, and a dress I'd hastily borrowed from my sister. Needless to say, I felt incredibly self-conscious throughout the entire event! Since then, I've vowed to be ready for the event, no matter what. I just wonder if any other women are like this, or have I picked up one of those obsessional compulsive disorders? I hope not!
