Oh How I'd Love to Be a Surgeon

I'm not job snob - look I've done all kinds of work in my life and enjoyed most of them - from selling glazier van side racks to selling shares. However, there is one job that I truly would love to do. The career I aimed at from childhood was the role of a surgeon. I would like to do all those intricate jobs of a surgeon, on the surgery table in his surgery dress and mask, assisted by nurses and other medical attendees. Perhaps, such a role of being a surgeon might have come in my mind when my grandmother had undergone a serious surgery during my childhood. That time, I could spend much time in hospitals in connection with treatment of my grandma. Besides, I could see the doctor spending his time with patients in a manner that mollify their pains. Many times I could see the doctor spending sleepless nights with the patients admitted in hospitals following road accidents. All these impressed my mind to become a good surgeon. But, fortunately for patients, I could not become a surgeon or even a nurse. I was forced to select some other field as my career by fate. But I am not ready to withdraw from that field. Whenever I get chance, I do a small kind of surgery will be practiced with great care when I am affected by acnes or such injuries, thinking that I am a good surgeon.
